Plantation Animal Clinic is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Crystal River, Florida. It is our commitment to provide the best possible veterinary care throughout the life of your canine or feline pet. Our services and facility are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.
We understand your pet is an important member of your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet’s health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education.

Meet The Team

Doctor
Lani Mills
Dr. Lani is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She has spent 20+ years in small animal general practice taking care of dog and cat patients. She came to Plantation Animal Clinic in 2019 to work beside her good friend and classmate, Dr. Tammy. She shares her Ocala home with her two teenage daughters, 5 cats and an occasional rescue pet. Any time spent outdoors constitutes a good day. Some of her favorite trips include hikes in Yosemite National Park and cresting the top of Mt Whitney, the highest peak in continental US.

Veterinary Technician
Heather
Heather has worked for Plantation Animal Clinic since 2008. Her love of animals is nurtured through her job as a veterinary technician. She has a myriad of pets at home including 3 dogs, an African Gray Parrot, chicken, and only one cat currently. She enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. She and her husband own a Fence company and are passing on their work ethic to their son, Max, who works alongside them.

Receptionist
Amanda
Amanda joined Plantation Animal Clinic in 2012. She currently has one dog and one cat, Sweet Pea and Bagheera. Outside of work she is busy helping her husband with their production business, enjoying trivia or curled up on her couch with a good book.

Veterinary Technician
Jodi
Jodi is a Florida native who started her career as a Certified Veterinary Technician in 1994. She graduated
from USF with a degree in Education followed by a degree in Veterinary Technology. She has worked at
Plantation Animal Clinic since 2015. Her passion for animals, and their wellbeing, led her to a career to
aid in their comfort and quality of life. Throughout her life, she has had the pleasure to share it with many
unforgettable 4-legged characters. “Until one has loved an animal, part of one’s soul remains
unawakened.”

Veterinary Technician
Kim
Kim has been a technician for 20 years. She joined the Plantation Animal Clinic family in 2021. Her love for animals is unconditional. She has 1 dog and 6 cats. When she's not helping our patients, she enjoys going to the beach, watching movies, and fast cars.

Veterinary Technician
Sage
Sage started at Plantation Animal clinic in 2024. Her love for animals led her to a career as a veterinary technician. It warms her heart to make our patients feel better. Her roots run deep in Citrus County. She grew up riding horses, and still competes.

Veterinary Assistant
Conner
Conner is a Veterinary Assistant who blends compassion for animals with a lifelong love of all things nerdy. When he's not caring for patients, you'll probably find him discussing Star Wars lore, painting miniatures, or working on his next creative project.

Veterinary Technician
Mokka
Mokka is our most recent addition to our Plantation Animal Clinic family. We are excited to have her as part of our team. Her passion for animals shines in her interactions with clients and patients.

Receptionist
Jannice
Jannice and her husband retired to Citrus county in 2000. They share their home with two golden
retriever princesses, Sitka Woo and Orla Rose. She enjoys reading, yoga, paddle boarding and traveling.
Mostly, she loves spending time with her fur babies. On and off she has been part of the PAC team since 2009.
